At Vic Bailey Lincoln, you can trust that our lot is full of the highest quality, most versatile Lincoln vehicles on the market today. If you're shopping for a midsize SUV, we know that competition is in full swing. For years, Cadillac and Lincoln have gone head-to-head in earning the title of America's top luxury vehicle dealer. When it comes down to the Lincoln Nautilus vs. the Cadillac XT5, we like to think that debate has been laid to rest.

Stylish from the Inside Out

Perhaps the biggest differentiator between the Nautilus and the XT5 is the amount of space you're offered in the Nautilus. Overall, there's 68.8 cubic feet of storage with the rear seats down in a Nautilus as compared to the 63 cubic feet of space in an XT5. Your passengers are offered more head room, leg room, and shoulder room when riding in your Lincoln. Heated front seats, driver and passenger lumbar, seat memory, and second row bench seats all come standard in the Lincoln Nautilus. These options cost extra or aren't even available in the XT5.

Powerful to Boot

Right out of the gate, the Nautilus saves you money in fuel every year. While the 2.0L Turbo Inline-4 engine doesn't quite provide the power that the XT5's 3.6L V6 does, the Nautilus is a more economical choice if you're not planning for a heavy haul every weekend. It's not just pocket change either: the Nautilus offers an MPG of 25 FWD/ 24 AWD as opposed to the XT5's 22 FWD/ 21 AWD. A 4-cylinder engine and turbocharged capabilities come standard in the Nautilus. It also boasts 275 torque vs. the 271 featured in the XT5. The Nautilus also has automatic transmission with manual mode in its standard model, while the XT5 does not offer manual mode. There's also an automatic transmission with overdrive in the Nautilus, which is not offered in the Cadillac.

Safety on the Road

The list of standard safety features available on the Nautilus is vast. The list of those features that aren't available in the XT5 is also rather long. Some of these features include; adaptive cruise control, a hands-free liftgate, steering wheel controls, trip computer, and variable speed windshield wipers. The Nautilus also has mirror memory, driver and passenger vanity mirrors, as well as power folding mirrors. Your infotainment center comes with full bells and whistles, including a CD player that can't be found in the XT5. Brake assist, electronic stability control, turn signal mirrors, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, and cross-traffic alert are all Nautilus standard features that the XT5 does not offer. In a Lincoln, our number one priority is your safety. The Nautilus is a testament to that.
